A new book club box and more!
A few announcements!
Subscription Box! Zibby’s Book Club is now available as a subscription box on the Allstora platform! So thrilled to be a part of this. My December pick is Susan Orlean’s Joyride: A Memoir. The first month is only $1 and the first 100 people to sign up get a signed copy. You can skip months if you want or even use credits to get books from other creators’ book clubs. All the books I pick center around themes of love, loss, relationships and reinvention. We’ll still have monthly Q&A Zooms with the authors but now you can also get the books delivered right to your door! Please sign up here or gift it! Check it out.
Attention: Palisades! Paliskates is opening back up!! You’re invited tonight to celebrate its reopening. Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4:00–7:00 PM PT, located just across from the Brentwood Country Mart. 212 26th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90402.
Discount code alert. Want to come to my event on January 26th at 7:30 pm at the 92nd Street Y (now called 92NY)? I’m part of Allison Gilbert’s panel for an On Being Jewish Now discussion with Rabbi Steve Leder, Jenny Mollen and Rebecca Minkoff. Use code CONNECT to take 20% off your tickets here.
Movie tickets! Recently I’ve given away movie tickets to “Christy” and “Hamnet.” Today, it’s an A24 film “Eternity.” Description: In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive. You’re invited to a special screening on Tuesday, November 18th at 7 pm at the Grove. Tickets here. Use affiliation code: Zibby.
Signing! I’ll be signing copies of On Being Jewish Now at the Jewish Book Council’s Lower East Side pop-up this Sunday, November 16th at 1 pm at 81 Hester Street in New York. They have a whole event full of signings, shopping, hot chocolate and more. Join me.

Thanks to the Women’s Jewish Federation of Milwaukee for hosting me last night for such a special event. So many ideas. So many thoughts. Essay about all of this to come next but this Substack is already too long. But I got my first standing ovation and boy, that was wild.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
