Zibby, please keep calling out antisemitism! For speakers at The National Book Awards, or any other event, to continue to charge Israel with "genocide," when that charge has been completely disproven, is, quite simply, bigotry. Just because "everyone is saying it," doesn't make it so.
So distressed to hear about the National Book Awards acceptance speeches and the persistent mentions of “the genocide.” I was tempted to ask a friend who attended and posted about it on Facebook, but decided not to as I would probably hate the answer. Thanks for your leadership on this, Zibby.
Thank you Zibby for calling out antisemitism. I too was disappointed that the "Everyone Will Have Been Against This" book is receiving recognition. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of authors to support. And on a personal note, I have a friend who has been living with AML for almost 7 years and Tatiana Schlossberg's article wrecked me. Thanksgiving blessings to you!
