I’m thinking of my late grandfather, Joseph Schwarzman, today — and all the brave veterans who have protected and served our country.

I have so many thoughts about the violent events in Amsterdam, Sweden, and even right here in New York on the anniversary of Kristallnacht. It is all unspeakably horrible and terrifying. I’m praying for everyone’s safety, here and everywhere.
